A weekly support group for managers — new, experienced, and everything in between. Co-facilitated by Adam and Amy Shand since 2014.
Many people get their first leadership role because they excelled at something else. Once in the job, there's often very little support or training. Managers Anonymous exists to fill that gap.
In small groups, participants share real challenges they're facing and work through them together. The approach is grounded in nonviolent communication and focused on building two core skills: self-knowledge and empathy. No advice unless you ask for it — just honest questions, shared experience, and a safe space to grow.
How it works
- Weekly 90-minute sessions, co-facilitated by Adam and Amy
- Small groups of mixed-experience managers
- Someone shares a real challenge, the group asks questions and shares experience
- Check-in and check-out rounds to keep everyone grounded

I was afraid that this was going to be some kind of hippy-dippy share-your-feelings and get vague affirmations gathering. There are definitely feelings sharing but it's with a goal of working out what the feelings are and what the root need is that has created those feelings.
